Canine Hip Dysplasia

Hip dysplasia is a disease that, in its more severe form, can eventually cause a severely crippling lameness and extremely painful arthritis to the joints of your pet. It is caused by a combination of genetic and environmental factors. It can be found in all types and breed of dogs, but is most commonly associated with larger breeds.

Canine Arthritis

Degenerative disk disease, or arthritis, is a disease in which the joint cartilage between bones begins to deteriorate. The result is that the surfaces of the bones that are normally supposed to glide freely over each other become rough, and lubrication within the joint is decreased. Movement can become more difficult and often painful.

Canine Dental Issues

Canine can suffer from many of the exact same types of dental issues as humans. These can include Halitosis gum disease and broken teeth. The wide range of issues can be as simple as changing their diets to needing drastic surgeries. Pain and discomfort levels will also vary with the extent and nature of the problem.
